Zowie Technology Corp. , a leading supplier of innovative discrete semiconductors, has introduced the new members of low Vf, low IR high-efficiency bridge rectifiers that will help customers to achieve 80 PLUS® energy-efficiency approvals. This energy program proposes to increase power supply efficiency, which helps reduce global carbon emissions by reducing wasted energy.

The new GBU1008L and GBL06L low-loss bridge rectifier can be generally used for the input of SMPS for the power adapters, desktop PCs, servers, LCD TV, LED lightings, and electrical appliances.

 The industry-leading electrical characteristics of these devices, brought by Zowie advanced  technologies, is 0.9V(typ) forward voltage that is almost 10% power reduction compared with traditional bridge rectifiers. In addition, with Zowie patented GPRC  chip inside, the maximum junction temperature of these devices can be rated up to 175C, resulting in industry-lowest HTIR (High Temperature leakage current) and the most reliable operation for various applications.
